<p>Je viens de voir M. Pilotaz, qui est un homme tout à fait sympathique. Votre idée a l’air de le séduire beaucoup. Il m’a demandé de reprendre son manuscrit et de le transformer à ma guise. (Il est, je crois, entre vos mains?). Les conditions de ce travail n’ont pour lui, me dit-il, aucune importance,- ce qui m’a mis un peu mal à l’aise pour les lui fixer : nous sommes convenus de nous en remettre à votre appréciation.<lb/>Qui plus est, il m’a proposé d’aller, en août, passer une quinzaine de jours chez lui, en Savoie. Voilà qui est, aussi, assez tentant – et fort aimable. <lb/>Merci encore de cette conjonction, qui est votre fait.<lb/>Dites-moi quel jour prochain je puis, sans vous ennuyer, passer rue des Arènes pour prendre le manuscrit (il n’y a évidemment pas extrême urgence).</p>
