Dear Sir,

I am answering to your letter of 8 May which I found after an absence of some days. There has been, in fact, a mistake in my second letter because of a false information which was given me. The price of the 2 groups, is, as I put it in my first letter of 75.000 and not 80.000 fr. Have you found this first letter of mine and the certificates of deposit which it contained?

I tell you in advance that in a week I shall have to ask you a new amount of 50.000 fr for the execution of the casting of the Porte de l’Enfer for which 600.000 fr have been asked and 300.000 fr have already been paid.

I am expecting now the 75.000 for the 2 groups ordered by Mr. Matsukata.
