We beg to confirm to you that we are now authorized by M. K. Matsukata to pay you on his behalf and for his account against the purchase he made through you for pictures, sculptures and bronzes up to the amount of 1,200,000 francs and when you receive our payment please notify us for our record the items of goods you bought, while Mr. Kenzo Kurabayashi 15, rue Auber, Paris representative of the Khhara Mining Co, Ltd, has been authorized by Mr. K. Matsukata to pay you the remaining 80,000 francs and you will receive confirmation thereof from the said Mr. Kurabayashi.
