To the Queen.
Madame,
It cannot be presumption to present that which to detain were sacrilege. My plea is, I durst not but bring the letters, which heaven sends. It indites what earth writes, in this most specially, which it have signed with its own hand and sealed with its own signet. Yet, if unacquainted with its hand, I mistake the superscription, and present it amiss; my hope is, such royal goodness may yet pardon,
