Project goals
The main objective of the Epicurei site is to help in the collective elaboration of an index of terms of Epicurean epistemology. The relevant terms are linked via critical transcriptions to the texts in which they appear, and are thus presented in their context of elaboration and philosophical use. Each set of terms is associated with a more general notion, the list of which constitutes the main entries of the index. The index itself is enriched with definitions of these general notions, as well as with the list of occurrences of the relevant terms in the proposed transcriptions.
