Exhibition presentation

Exhibition dedicated to actress Greta Garbo. In situ exhibition made up of 90 portrait photographs by prominent photographers. The exhibited photos were ones that Garbo preserved during her lifetime and which were shown and published for the first time by her heirs to celebrate her centenary. It is assumed that the exhibition included other authentic objects such as family photographs, letters and posters.
The exhibition was put together in collaboration with the Museum of Santa Barbara in the United States. It was designed in Frankfurt. The first part of the exhibition featured an unframed portrait of the actress and three didactics. Texts then took on a lesser role and made way for documents, some of which were presented in table display cases. The portrait photographs were framed and put up on burgundy-painted walls.
