Siobhan Smith
Siobhan completed a BA(Hons) English Studies at Teesside University and MA English Literature at Canterbury Christ Church University. She is hoping to begin a PhD next year.
Siobhan's favourite Lee text is the play Ariadne in Mantua: A Romance in Five Acts (1903), which she wrote about in her undergraduate dissertation as part of a discussion on cross-dressing.
She has published “Visiting the Home of Vernon Lee” in the International Centre for Victorian Women Writers (ICVWW) Newsletter, September 2023, and “Newly graduated? Why you should be brave and attend an academic conference” in the The Sibyl: A Journal of Vernon Lee Studies, September 2022.
