Four editions of the Mythologiae libri and their French translation were illustrated: Paris, 1612 (attr. Pierre Eskrich); Padua, 1616 (Filippo Ferroverde) + Padova, P. Frambottus, 1637; Paris, 1627 (Daniel Rabel, Charles David and Michel Lasne).
These three series are derived in various ways from illustrations produced for Vincenzo Cartari's Imagini degli degli Antichi :
- the engravings used in 1612 and 1616 are re-uses of woodcuts published respectively in Lyon (1581 then Paris 1610) and Padua (1615) for Cartari's text.
- the plates produced in 1627 under the direction of Daniel Rabel were inspired by the Lyon and Padua series, with the addition of other models.
