My dear M. Zola :
As you have already give me so much pleasure, I must ask another favor from your hands it will take but a moment of your valuable time but will to be a joy to me always. I want you to please write a sentiment or quotation from your works and your signature. I have a splendid collection of autographs of Authors and Artists English (mades by a (mot illisible) letter from (mot illisible : Lewypson) American but representative Frenchman. The great can afford to be generous so I trust you will scruply(?) with my request.
I have the honor to be
Most Admiringly yours
