My dear Sir,
The whole world is looking to you to see that open Justice be done in the Dreyfus case. The people of the United States love France for Lafayette sake and are both to believe that the highest courts are not open to a public inquiry.
This unfortunate man confined in an iron cage in a foreign land should receive Justice whether innocent or guilty.
You as a man of world wide fame can help the cause of Justice.
